Mayra and Jésica, two of our women embroiderers. Diligent and resilient, these women are not just hardworking; they are devoted wives, nurturing mothers, and influential community leaders dedicated to empowering the pivotal role of women.
The embroiderers involved in this project take great pride in witnessing their craft showcased on an international platform. They sense that their dedication is not only acknowledged but also equitably compensated. They receive not just a fair wage but also a percentage of the profits from each set sold. This arrangement not only recognizes their hard work but also enables them to contribute positively to the well-being of their families. These skilled embroiderers play a significant role in sustaining their households, either as primary contributors to the family economy or as the heads of their households.
This fair-trade initiative serves as a financial vindication for the painstaking, laborious efforts of the mountain embroiderers. Each embroidery reflects not just their craftsmanship, but also a heartfelt investment of their souls into every piece.

Isabella strives to cultivate a company driven by social and human values. Its owner conducted extensive research, recognizing the Ecuadorian embroiderers as women who, with every stitch, provide vital support to their families and communities.
Seeking Skilled Artisans
To realize her vision of a company rooted in human values, Isabel embarked on numerous journeys to cities and small towns across Ecuador, discovering and evaluating various handicrafts. After an exhaustive search, she ultimately discovered skilled embroiderers nestled in the mountains. With their captivating folkloric designs, they transformed pieces of various sizes and shapes into vibrant works of art, bursting with color.

Establishing a connection with the embroiderers, Isabel revealed her inner world as she meticulously selected colors and crafted designs for the intricate pieces awaiting embroidery. In pursuit of this, she ventured into the realm of interior design, immersing herself in the latest trends of New York and Chicago. From there, she curated sets that reflected her acquired insights and creative vision.
